Itinerary

Day 1:Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Skoura Oasis – Dades Valley

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Marrakech as you journey across the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, enjoy panoramic viewpoints, traditional Berber villages, and scenic mountain landscapes with plenty of opportunities for memorable photos.

Arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous fortified village. Explore its ancient earthen streets, historic kasbahs, and hilltop viewpoints while learning about its importance as a former caravan trading center and a popular filming location for international movies.

After lunch, continue through Ouarzazate and the beautiful Skoura Oasis, where thousands of palm trees surround traditional kasbahs and fertile farmland.

In the late afternoon, arrive in the spectacular Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations, winding roads, and stunning mountain scenery. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a comfortable hotel or riad.

Day 2:Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, continue your journey through southern Morocco toward the lush oasis of Tinghir before reaching the spectacular Todra Gorge. Walk beneath towering limestone cliffs that rise more than 300 meters, making this one of Morocco’s most impressive natural attractions.

Travel onward through Rissani, an ancient trading town known for its traditional souk and rich Saharan history, before arriving at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga.

Leave your vehicle behind and begin a peaceful camel trek across the golden dunes as the sun sets over the Sahara. Travelers who prefer not to ride camels can reach the camp comfortably by private 4×4 vehicle.

Upon arrival at your luxury desert camp, settle into your private ensuite tent before enjoying a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and an unforgettable night beneath the stars.

Day 3:Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake before sunrise to witness one of the Sahara Desert’s most magical moments as the first light illuminates the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, begin your return journey toward Marrakech.

Travel through the beautiful Draa Valley, one of Morocco’s longest oasis valleys, where endless palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and traditional villages line the route.

Continue to Ouarzazate for a lunch break, with the option to visit Kasbah Taourirt or admire the city’s famous film studios.

Cross the High Atlas Mountains once more, enjoying scenic stops along the way before arriving back in Marrakech in the early evening, bringing your unforgettable Sahara Desert adventure to a close.
